The Central Park Zoo

Right off 68th and 5th in Manhattan you'll find animals of the temperate zone. A sleepy polar bear, penguins, snow leopards, feisty birds, and lots of entertainment. It may be on the smaller scale, but definitely worth the visit. Check out more HERE
