Take Me Out To The Ball Game...

My brother and I enjoyed a great evening at Yankee Stadium, compliments of my Aunt - best out there! Happy I was able to see Jeter one last time before his time comes to an end in MLB. Unfortunate he didn't hit anything major. However, it was nice to see him jump for a ball... that butt though... ;)

Thanks Zoe Team for some outfit inspirations on what to wear this Friday! Fingers crossed nothing but sunshine. Can't wait to lounge about, drink, and enjoy the fireworks #Merica! Obviously, the color theme Red, White, and Blue is key. Be careful with how you paint your nails though - one year I tried to be fancy and my nails looked like a cross between the Pepsi logo and French Flag - Fail.

My Sunday Best just for Easter. Had a lovely Linner (Lunch/Dinner) with my parents on the lake closest to my home. It's always nice to spend quality time together and get dressed up. Happy to be wearing white - although my legs were definitely a much lighter color. Sun...keep on shining!

If you haven't realized by now, everyone and their mother is in a tizzy about Coachella. I don't blame them. I've never been and i'm jealous. Although ticket prices are just a bit astronomical, it'll be on the bucket list in a couple of years time. Doesn't mean I can't get excited over the fun festival wear and share my finds for those of you lucky birds attending.

Spring...I see all the beautiful colors and I know it's Spring! The sight of tulips or a woman's pastel dress. The brain just switches off the winter blues and immediately amps up your happy emojis. I must admit, I only own one of these items - the Nars lip stick and it is the bomb diggity. I'm waiting for sales or miracle finds for the other items.

I am in love with the Tibi mules but most likely, i'll be hitting up Zara for their black pair or even those copper metallic if i'm feeling jazzy...which as you know by now, I feel often.

April Showers... time to brush up that umbrella because the temperature is will be rising! Once that temperature rises, snow becomes...RAIN! Who said you can't get it all here on The Gilded Lily?

The wind can be quite fierce waaay downtown with the winds from the East and Hudson rivers. After a specific battle last year, Obviously you know won that one, I'll be needing a new umbrella. I've always wanted an umbrella that made you feel protected inside a bubble as you watch the distressed passers-by on the streets. In comes - Hunter!

Obviously they are known for their wellies, which I love. Perhaps one day if I move across the pond I can begin my collection of a variety of patterns and colors. In the meantime, I love my lady of the tundra Hunters. Which, believe it or not, I bought via ebay in back in the college days when money was tight...who am I kidding, it's been 3 years and money is still tight. #realworldproblems

Who doesn't love a snow day? I know it's not the same from the days of elementary school, but it's still a beautiful thing. So happy to whip out my new Sorel boots I ordered via Gilt earlier this season. They are super warm and Sorel is a quality brand if you're in the market for a solid pair of snow boots. Stay warm out there!

Although it's beyond the first day of winter, it's raining and a nice 52° outside. Yes, I wish it were snow. Call me old fashioned but I like a White Christmas.
