Spring...I see all the beautiful colors and I know it's Spring! The sight of tulips or a woman's pastel dress. The brain just switches off the winter blues and immediately amps up your happy emojis. I must admit, I only own one of these items - the Nars lip stick and it is the bomb diggity. I'm waiting for sales or miracle finds for the other items.

I am in love with the Tibi mules but most likely, i'll be hitting up Zara for their black pair or even those copper metallic if i'm feeling jazzy...which as you know by now, I feel often.

April Showers... time to brush up that umbrella because the temperature is will be rising! Once that temperature rises, snow becomes...RAIN! Who said you can't get it all here on The Gilded Lily?

The wind can be quite fierce waaay downtown with the winds from the East and Hudson rivers. After a specific battle last year, Obviously you know won that one, I'll be needing a new umbrella. I've always wanted an umbrella that made you feel protected inside a bubble as you watch the distressed passers-by on the streets. In comes - Hunter!

Obviously they are known for their wellies, which I love. Perhaps one day if I move across the pond I can begin my collection of a variety of patterns and colors. In the meantime, I love my lady of the tundra Hunters. Which, believe it or not, I bought via ebay in back in the college days when money was tight...who am I kidding, it's been 3 years and money is still tight. #realworldproblems
