Wine Tour- North Fork, Long Island

Last minute I hopped on the Jitney out to Riverhead for a wine tour through Hotel Indigo-Thanks Living Social and ladies of Massapequa! A lot of fun and definite must do. There are twenty + vineyards on the North Fork and all are very different. My favorite of the day was our first stop- Sparkling Pointe due to the fact they only make sparkling wine- my love. Then headed off to Osprey's Dominion. Great crowd ... for those 65 years+...loved watching those seniors dance with each other. Can't forget about the dog crowd either- Osprey's is dog and kid friendly. They have a glorious spiced wine, which they serve warm. If you enjoy mulled cider, then you'll enjoy their spiced wine. Last stop- LIV (Long Island Vodka). A little aggressive as a last stop on a wine tour but fear not, they are only small shots of flavored liquors (brandy and whiskey as well as their potato vodka). Really nice feeling that warm sensation through your belly- woah baby! Keepin' it classy. It's spring- get out there and get your wine on!
