DIY: Easter Baskets

IMG_4025Untitled-1

Items needed: Baskets, Fake Easter Grass, Chocolates, Magazines

IMG_4031Untitled-1Now, if I had more time to be craftier, my hope would be for my baskets to look more like Emily Schuman's from Cupcakes and Cashmere. At the end of the day, it's all about the thought that counts. Last weekend I picked up a few items from the local drugstore and put together a few Easter baskets for my parents and le boyfriend (sorry brosef - maybe next year you'll get one). Now that the surprise is ruined, they can all receive their baskets pre-Easter, which I think is a pretty sweet deal.

As a magazine lover myself, I find them to be the best and cheapest guilty pleasures. There are quite a variety and you can taper the category to each individual fairly easy. Chocolates - other than Valentine's Day and Halloween, Easter is a serious time of chocolate. Mom prefers Dark, Dad prefers peanut butter, and my love likes them all. How do I effortlessly put them together? I do just so - effortlessly. You take a basket, throw some fake Easter grass in it with some sprinkles of chocolate. Bada bing, bada boom you have an Easter Basket!

Have a lovely holiday weekend! xx

Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere? A theme like yours with a few simple adjustements would really make my blog jump out. Please let me know where you got your theme. Bless you
