The legend - Grace Coddington - has revealed a peek inside her NYC apartment via Domaine and The Wall Street Journal. I think her kitchen is my favorite of her spaces shown. It seems very homey and exudes the spirit of a well traveled and memorable life. The black and white photos are definitely my favorite, as well as the collection of assorted dining ware.

PS- hoooww amazing is the photo shoot of her?

Get creative with your shoe storage! Women - we love our shoes, but where the heck are we supposed to put them all? Some of them are certainly prettier to display than others. The ones we can do without showcasing can easily be stored in bins that can go under your bed or in a closet. Check out places like Ikea, Target, or Walmart. Check out more creative ways via Who What Wear's article on shoe storage inspired by pinterest. Or simply check out Pinterest yourself HERE.

To The Walls

If there was ever a fact about my living arrangements, it is that I highly dislike white, barren walls. It is just not necessary no matter how much of a clean, OCD, luny you may be. I don't care if you blow up a picture of your grandma and put it on your wall, or roll your body in paint and proceed to glide yourself along your wall (hey that actually sounds fun), your walls must be decorated. I love framing my favorite magazine covers from over the years which definitely acts as great (and cheap) art. Here are some stellar inspirations via Pinterest.

Absolutely love the newly renovated kitchen in Emily Schuman's home. Check out more on her blog Cupcakes & Cashmere!  Wooden floors, subway tiles, and stainless steel appliances are all on my bucket list for a future kitchen. For the moment, I can handle the eat in/galley way style. See below for more great kitchen inspirations!

It is so easy to get swept away by Pinterest and before I continued and added a lengthy list, I held myself back. It was brilliant to bring something as great as Pinterest alive on the web. No more carting around idea boxes, boards, or books. Check out more from my "Living" board on Pinterest HERE.

Clean, crisp, small spaces. Check out more on my Pinterest board! Although, I know my budget could never afford the actual pieces of furniture in these photos, they serve - like Pinterest - as inspiration. Similar pieces can be purchased at Ikea or better yet, craigslist.
