US Open

My very first US Open!! Had an absolutely stellar time! Although our seats were in the nose bleeds, the Moet and talent made up for it all. Being able to watch Federer and Serena was a dream. Federer with his calm appeal and Serena being an insane power house, it was an incredible time being able to see it all live. The Moet lounge wasn't so terrible either ;)

What to wear to the US Open? Depends on what you're feeling and where you're sitting. I'm always one for dressing jazzy, but last night I kept it simple with a sweater, pants, and a sweet pair of Nikes. Get inspired...

So Much Room For Activities

As a newb in the Big Apple, I have numerous adventures on my bucket list. So what if I act like a tourist? I've been checking activities off left and right...what have you done lately?

Fortunately - both activities I share with you today are in the same location, different day.

Mondays - HBO Film Festival. Had a blast watching The Karate Kid, eating popcorn and thanks to my BFF, stale cookies from Uruguay - thanks girl. Time is running out for this activity though, as believe it or not, summer is almost over - gasp!

Tuesday Mornings & Thursday Evenings - Yoga baby! Attempt to be flexible and watch New Yorkers find their center in their suits. I kid you not, I watched a man a few rows ahead of me form into a pretzel in his suit and tie. I'm not even mad...I'm impressed. There's plenty of time for Yoga as it's offered through September.

Night At The Ballet

Believe it or not, I once took ballet and as much as I loved being a "baby duck" or "lady bug" I was never cut out for the elegant dance. I've always loved watching ballet to see the beautiful costumes and am fascinated by the flexibility and strength these dancers have.

Finally, last night I went to Lincoln Center to see The American Ballet perform Swan Lake with my mother dearest. It was absolutely beautiful and I would recommend that everyone A- visit and see a performance at Lincoln Center and B- definitely take in Swan Lake. It is a story we all know whether we've seen the performance or not - perhaps if only for seeing the movie Black Swan?

Hello world! I know you've missed me and I apologize for being M.I.A. for the past week. A lot has been happening post Memorial Day Weekend. Can't wait to share all!

If you caught my Instatweets, you noticed I was fortunate enough to make it to the VC Polo Classic again this year (pictured above)! woo! More great news - I've finally made the move to the Big Apple, Empire State, Concrete Jungle. There will be fun posts to come this week recapping it all.

Happy Tuesday! Cin Cin xx
